Airtime (also known as Smart Talk) measures and improves soft skills with hard data. It is designed to help leaders and managers make every conversation 100% better by becoming more skilled in up to 18 key verbal behaviors.

I offer the Airtime method because I firmly believe that improving our conversations is the secret to improving business, improving relationships, and improving the world.

Airtime builds upon time-tested verbal skill development, adding modern digital technology, data science, and coaching tools.

Using the Airtime approach I unobtrusively observe a conversation and code/quantify how much each person talks, along with what kinds of things they say and when. Using this data I generate a detailed numbers-based report on what happened in that conversation.

With the data, a detailed, quantitative report is generated that mirrors the verbal activity in the conversation followed by a qualitative feedback debriefing. This powerful combination of qualitative and quantitative data is used to drive a balanced, structured review with deep reflection, and powerful learning.

The results can be surprising, even shocking. Patterns are revealed and made clear. The numbers often don’t match up with people’s perceptions of what happened. This new awareness opens the door for deep learning, skills development, and behavior change.
